Ten Alps takes advertising hit as revenues tumble

Ten Alps, the media production firm co-founded by Bob Geldof, today posted a 17.6% fall in full-year revenues, hurt by lower advertising sales.

The company, which provides and manages content on TV, radio, online and print, reduced its net debt by 17.2% to £12 million and said it expected growth in the fiscal year 2012.

For the year to March 31, Ten Alps posted a pre-tax profit of £3.2 million, compared with £3.3 million a year ago. Revenue fell 17.6% to £66.1 million and year-end cash balance stood at £6.7 million, down from £13.1 million.
