Night with the stars: Idris Elba and Phoebe Waller-Bridge at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards last year
Dave Benett

The chance to meet top athletes and mingle with A-listers at one of London’s biggest award ceremonies are among the lots in the latest auction for our charity appeal.

British Athletics is offering a pair of bidders the opportunity to meet stars of the Olympics at the Müller Anniversary Games at the London Stadium in July, while theatre-lovers can bid to attend the Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2019, with a private champagne reception and an invite-only after-party.

Other lots include the chance to go to the second day of an Ashes Test this summer, Winning Post seats at Ascot, a sailing vest signed by Sir Ben Ainslie.

London experiences include a dinner for two at Oswald’s, an exclusive private member’s club, with a focus on fine wine, in the heart of Mayfair.

Proceeds from the auction will go to our AIDSfree appeal, which in conjunction with the Elton John AIDS Foundation, aims to get all of those with HIV on treatment, and eventually create an Aids-free future.

It will support projects in London, Nairobi, Atlanta, Kiev, Delhi and Maputo.

Our auction is powered by Givergy, an award-winning fundraising technology, and the auction ends on January 20 at 10pm.
